   I never thought I would hear that Kuwaitis are in to sushi! I had to write a comment even if this is an old episode!

   My husband is a chef! I never liked sea food when living in Kuwait, and as good luck for me my husband doesn’t like sea food either! He makes sea food dishes that every one loves, but no chance for us.

   But in Finland we do eat Caviar, cold smoked Salmon and other row fish! I like that and for a strange reason is my husband liked them too when he tried them.

   So it was difficult for us to try and like the sushi. But it is a delicacy and expensive. Still we crave it very often. My husband is a Greek-Cypriot chef, so row fish was a very strange and scary for him, especially that he really hates fish and sea food. After more times eating in Japanese and thinking of the reason why can he eat it and like it. He realized that when he cooks the fish in the restaurant the fish’s oil comes out of it, and that is the part that gives the fish its smell, but the row fish has its oils in and doesn’t have that smell. Buy the way our 7 year old daughter likes sushi too!!!

   Chop sticks might do there work as you said in Kuwait, different and fun! But I won’t say it’s one of the main reasons, because in Chinese restaurants we use them too.

   I would say it’s very healthy and it’s a delicacy. But I won’t say it’s a meal if it’s a small plate, but when we go to our favorite Japanese we order the mix sushi boat that has 2 of about 20 different sushi and roles (as you called them).But if I know right they are called sushi too but role sushi! Any way that is a meal!!

   It’s true it might be just a trend there! We do have Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, and many others. So for us we like everything but Japanese would be our favorite!

   If you ever visit Cyprus, I promise I’ll take you for Japanese on me!
