People are teaching their kids English when they r babes till they grow up in and outside the house which is making them forget totally about their mother language. Is that good or bad? do we need Arabic now or everything is converting to English anyways so why bother? listen us to our show this week to find out the answers

Movie Review: Elf

Will Ferrell did an amazing job acting this movie. it was his third movie after Old School which was his breakthrough even though he’s been in the biz for a while. The movie was released in 2003 during Christmas time. It is a light movie, perfect for family gatherings specially during this time and it will give you and your family a good laugh. Deera Chat Family recommends the movie and please let us know what you think.

The Largest Public Park in Kuwait

London-based landscape architectural practice Scape Design Associates has announced the approval of its concept design for Kuwait’s largest public park built on one of the most expensive land plot for sale in Kuwait and associated Mall of Kuwait, in collaboration with architect Eric Kuhne & Associates.

The park and Mall, with its striking architecture, will comprise numerous retail, recreational and leisure facilities amid a series of contemporary gardens, ornamental brackish lakes, promenades and water features, setting it apart from any other shopping destination.

Situated within a staggering 361,000m2 of parkland (over twice the size of Bluewater shopping centre and its landscape) and featuring more than 7000 indigenous palm and shade trees, the landscape carefully plays on the relationship between Islamic and native desert themes. Human micro-climates via plant associations, shade and wind control are also being created. [.... more]

Kuwait doesn’t have an offical website!

if you type in “Kuwait” in your small Google search box, all you find is foreign sites talking about Kuwait! doesn’t the government of Kuwait want to show the world where the country is located, why people would want to come to Kuwait, how people can come to Kuwait, or how would they spend their time there? we believe it is important to draw a little nice picture of our county in the World Wide Web. on the other hand, if you type in “Dubai” , “Abu Dhabi”, “Qatar”, “Bahrain”, you’ll see GOVERNMENTAL sites showing you what you need to know about their country. Hope our ministry of information takes a little step forward instead of going through people’s mails and deliveries for the time being.
