Nwaf
thank you for you comment, while you do that, and fight a good fight, you miss good opportunities out there. why would fight in a place, were you can have a fair ride up the scale somewhere else that appreciate you, without having to have a talk with the manager!

For me i think staying in the job and stand for myself would be the best option, this by saying my right and face my manager rather than keeping hiding it. I would be assertive and go directly to my manager and discuss this with them so that they know my own right and should not try to control me in a negative way!!

I dont think the 2nd option would solve the problem because its likely to have the same problem with other manager.

I genral i believe the manager who behave this way do not deserve this position!!

''Pick your stuff up; say your goodbyes and leave, and one more thing… DON’T COMPLAIN''

The above quote wont help you to solve the problem,
So what i have suggusted is the best option!!

Thanks guys anyway for bringing this topic

I'm with You. I'd go for the second Option.

No Employee can be productive without being appreciated.

one more thing, complaining isn't gonna change your

situation.

Ahmad & Ansam:
thank you both for your input, it is very logical what you wrote, however, and u can call me a dreamer, i believe that one can get the prize if he run to it. why not i be in love with my job, why cant i be happy with it, why do i have to settle for less, I want it all. whats wrong with that, other people around the world got it, why not me. let me steel from Queen the words "gotta find me a future... move out of my way"

there will always be difficulties and obstacles, to swim with the tide or find your own way that make you happy, is a choice not every one capable to make! but it is still a choice. thanks again

Dear Mr. Musaed

Its obvious hard to live in a place that is similar like to live two contradicts that you have to stay in a job that you do not like to live in forever. And, you can never leave it as to the benefits that you got. In addition, to the unability to find a similar benefits in the opportunities available around. Also, you might you be overqualified for new opportunities available.

To solve this dilema that many people feel working in ministries and private companies in Kuwait and might be every where else in the world, is to live your current job- with the headache you are in- and find the best in the job, and try to enjoy the best of it. And, try to search for new - side dish - activity and part time work that satisfy your inner personality. Its not easy but you should get the best of every moment in your live, and do not waste your time blaming yourself and keep crying and burning your soul.

I thinks it's a matter of priorities that makes you decide whether to stay or quit..is it the good pay? challenging environment, supportive boss, promising career path or so many other factors cause at the end you can't have it all unless you have your own successful business where you can set the rules
