Audiobook Review: Flashforward
Posted on 20. Oct, 2009 by Ali in Review
The book is by Robert J. Sawyer and narrated by Mark Deakins and you can buy it from from Audible for $14.68. The book is in few words:
A scientific experiment begins, and as the button is pressed, the unexpected occurs: everyone in the world goes to sleep for a few moments while everyone’s consciousness is catapulted more than 20 years into the future. At the end of those moments, when the world reawakens, all human life is transformed by foreknowledge.
I have been having a hard time listening to Audiobooks without having seen them in reality either in a movie or a TV show. The book is completely different from the audiobook. The writer wastes many words on tiny details that are hardly relevant to the story which makes it a slow story. The ending is not a significant ending and kind of sad. I like happy endings and this book didn’t really have one.
Anyway i give it two thumbs down.
